What is Builders Pro?
Builders Prois the second paid tier in our Founders Edition membership (Hobby starts at $5). Pro members get a verified badge, 50 monthly tokens, unlimited projects, higher post limits, and more. The builder Slack community is free for every account, and weekly sprint check-ins via Slack are unlocked on any paid plan (Hobby, Pro, or Founder's Circle).

Pro Membership Benefits
Verified Pro Badge
Display a distinctive Pro badge on your profile that signals your commitment to the builder community. This badge appears next to your name throughout the platform, helping you stand out and build trust with other members.
Post Up to 10 Updates Per Day
Free members can post 1 update per day. Pro members get up to 10 posts/day. Founder's Circle members get up to 20 posts/day. Your updates appear in the builder feed where others can engage, comment, and support your journey.
50 Monthly Tokens ($5 Value)
Pro members receive 50 tokens each month, worth $5 in ad credit. Founder's Circle gets 100 tokens/mo. Use tokens to promote your posts with sidebar ads and boost visibility.
Unlimited Projects
Free accounts can list up to 3 projects. Pro members can create unlimited project pages to showcase your work, track milestones, and get feedback from other builders.
Pro Momentum
The builder Slack is free for everyone; weekly sprint check-ins via Slack unlock on any paid plan (Hobby and up). Pro adds higher post limits, more tokens, and stronger profile signals.
Open to Meeting Status
Display an "Open to Meeting" badge on your profile and let other builders know you're available for conversations. Link your calendar URL so others can easily book time with you for collaboration, mentorship, or networking.
Lower Community Fees
Everyone can create free and paid communities with integrated Stripe payments. The platform fee is 30% on Free, drops to 10% for Pro, and just 5% for Founder's Circle.

How to Subscribe
Follow these steps to subscribe:

Go to Settings
Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner and select Settings from the menu, or visit builders.to/settings/account directly.

Find the Membership Section
At the top of your settings page, you'll see the "Builders Pro" section with the crown icon.

Choose Your Plan
Select from Pro Monthly ($10/month), Pro Yearly ($100/year, save 17%), Founder's Circle ($25/month intro pricing), or Founder's Circle Yearly ($250/year, save 17%).

Complete Payment
You'll be redirected to Stripe's secure checkout page. Enter your payment details and complete the subscription.

Enjoy Pro Benefits!
After successful payment, you'll be redirected back to Builders.to. Your Pro badge will appear immediately and all Pro features will be unlocked.
Managing Your Subscription
Viewing Your Subscription
Once subscribed, the Pro Membership section will show your current plan and renewal date. You can see when your next billing cycle occurs and how much time remains.
Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the settings page. When you cancel:
- You keep Pro benefits until the end of your current billing period
- You won't be charged again after your current period ends
- Your Pro badge and features will be removed after the period ends
Reactivating Your Subscription
Changed your mind? If you've cancelled but your current period hasn't ended yet, you can click "Keep My Subscription" to reactivate. Your subscription will continue as normal with no interruption.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I switch between tiers?
Yes! Active subscribers can upgrade or downgrade between Pro and Founder's Circle at any time from the settings page. Stripe handles prorated billing automatically.
How do I enable "Open to Meeting"?
Once you're a Pro member, go to your profile settings and toggle on the "Open to Meeting" option. You can also add your calendar URL (like Calendly or Cal.com) so others can book time with you directly.
What AI features are included?
Pro members get access to AI-powered content suggestions, post variations, and agentic workflows that help you create engaging content for the community. These features help you save time while creating quality posts.
Is there a refund policy?
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once your billing period begins. However, if you have issues, please reach out to the community on X and we'll do our best to help.
