3.4 Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
3.5 Founder Accounts
Each account on Builders.to is intended for use by founders—individual builders working on their own projects. All users, including free accounts, may create company profiles and post job listings. Company profiles and job postings must accurately represent your organization and comply with all applicable laws.
4. User Content
4.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service ("User Content"), including projects, company profiles, daily updates, comments, service listings, local listings, job postings, and profile information. By submitting User Content, you grant Builders.to a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.
4.2 Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your User Content and agree not to submit content that:
- Violates any law or regulation
- Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
- Contains malware, spam, or malicious code
- Is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading
- Is defamatory, obscene, or harassing
- Promotes violence or discrimination
- Impersonates another person or entity
- Contains personal information of others without consent
- Manipulates engagement metrics (upvotes, likes, follows) through artificial means
- Promotes illegal products or services
- Promotes or relates to gambling, betting, or games of chance involving real money or items of monetary value (this restriction applies to user-submitted content only and does not apply to first-party Builders.to features that use non-redeemable in-app tokens, such as the Wagers token game)
- Contains adult, sexually explicit, or pornographic material
- Is otherwise deemed not safe for work (NSFW)
4.3 AI-Generated Content
If you use any AI assistance to draft content posted on Builders.to:
- You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before posting
- AI-generated content is subject to the same content guidelines as manually created content
- You may not use AI features to generate content that violates these Terms, including spam, misleading content, or scraped material
4.4 Content Moderation
We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to review, edit, or remove any User Content at our sole discretion. We may remove content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable for any reason. Users may report content through our reporting system, and we will review flagged content as appropriate.
4.5 Threaded Comments
Comments on projects, updates, events, and listings support threaded replies. All content guidelines apply equally to replies. Reply chains may be collapsed or moderated if they violate our policies or become disruptive.
4.6 Project Backlinks & Backlink Autopilot
Every published project must include a working backlink to Builders.to (for example, via a Builders.to badge or a project link in your site's footer). We periodically verify backlinks by fetching the public HTML and a small number of script assets from your project URL.
When verification fails, the Backlink Autopilot system runs a weekly cadence of up to three reminder emails before automatically moving the project back to draft on the fourth weekly miss. You can re-publish at any time once the backlink is in place. Throttling and reset rules apply so the cadence does not double-fire on the same day.
4.7 Building in Public & Posting Guidelines
Builders.to is a building-in-public community. The majority of your posts and updates should relate to your builder journey, including but not limited to:
- Wins: Launches, milestones, revenue updates, user growth, and achievements
- Losses: Failed experiments, pivots, setbacks, and honest reflections
- Blockers: Technical challenges, design decisions, and requests for help
- Progress: Daily or weekly build updates, feature demos, and behind-the-scenes work
- Learnings: Insights, tutorials, and advice gained from your building experience
4.8 Promotional Content Limits
To keep the community focused on building rather than advertising:
- Free Users: Free accounts are limited to 1 promotional post per week. Promotional posts include product launches, discount offers, affiliate links, and direct calls to purchase.
- Pro Users: Pro subscribers may receive higher promotional posting limits as part of their plan benefits.
- What Counts as Promotional: A post is considered promotional if its primary purpose is driving sales, sign-ups, or traffic to an external product or service rather than sharing your building journey.
- Organic Updates Are Not Promotional: Sharing a milestone (e.g., "just launched v2!"), asking for feedback, or posting a build update that mentions your product is not considered promotional.
4.9 Low-Quality & Spam Accounts
We actively monitor for low-quality and spammy behavior to protect the community. Accounts identified as low-quality or spam may be subject to the following enforcement actions:
- Rate Limiting: Posting frequency may be throttled for accounts exhibiting spammy behavior, including excessive promotional content, repetitive posts, or bulk engagement.
- Warnings: Accounts may receive formal warnings for first-time or borderline violations. Warnings are logged and repeated violations escalate enforcement.
- Account Removal: Accounts that persistently post spam, low-effort content unrelated to building, or content that degrades the community experience may be permanently removed without prior notice.
Determination of what constitutes "low quality" or "spam" is at the sole discretion of Builders.to. Examples include but are not limited to: posting only affiliate links, auto-generated or scraped content, repetitive self-promotion without meaningful building updates, and engagement farming (e.g., follow-for-follow schemes).
4.10 Prohibited Content Categories
The following categories of content are strictly prohibited on Builders.to:
- Gambling: User-submitted content that promotes, facilitates, or relates to real-money gambling, sports betting, online casinos, lotteries, or games of chance involving items of monetary value. This category does not cover first-party Builders.to features that use non-redeemable in-app tokens (see Section 4.11).
- Adult Content: Sexually explicit material, pornography, escort services, or any content of a sexual nature.
- NSFW Material: Any content deemed not safe for work, including graphic violence, gore, or disturbing imagery.
- Investment Advice: Personalized investment, financial, legal, or tax advice presented as such. Public investor information about
$BUILDERSon the platform is informational only and is not investment advice.
Projects, profiles, updates, listings, and any other content that fall into these categories will be removed, and the associated accounts may be suspended or permanently banned.
4.11 In-App Token Games (Wagers)
Builders.to may offer optional in-app games where you can risk non-redeemable platform tokens for a chance to win additional tokens (for example, the /wagers game). By participating, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Tokens have no cash value: Builders.to tokens are an in-app currency. They cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred off the platform, or exchanged for items of monetary value.
- House advantage: The Wagers game is weighted in favor of the house. The current odds are 49% chance of winning and 51% chance of losing the wagered tokens, which results in a long-term expected loss of tokens. Odds are displayed in-product before each wager.
- Server-resolved outcomes: All randomness is generated and resolved on our servers. Outcomes are final once recorded.
- No purchase required to play: You can only wager tokens you already hold; tokens are earned through normal platform activity, grants, gifts, and (where available) optional purchases. Purchasing tokens is never required to use Builders.to.
- Eligibility: You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use Builders.to and participate in token games. We may restrict or disable token games in jurisdictions where they are not permitted, and we may revoke access at our discretion.
- Abuse and fairness: Automated play, multi-account abuse, exploitation of bugs, or any attempt to manipulate token games may result in token clawback, account suspension, or permanent ban.
- No warranty: Token games are provided as-is for entertainment within the platform. We may modify odds, limits, or remove the feature entirely at any time.
5. Cross-Platform Posting
5.1 Platform Connections
You may connect your Twitter/X account to enable cross-posting. By connecting:
- You authorize us to post content on your behalf to connected platforms
- You are responsible for complying with each platform's terms of service
- We store encrypted OAuth tokens to maintain your connections
- You can disconnect platforms at any time, which revokes our access
5.2 Cross-Posted Content
When cross-posting content:
- Content is adapted to each platform's requirements (character limits, media formats)
- You are responsible for the content posted to external platforms
- We are not responsible for how external platforms handle your content
- Scheduled posts will be published at the specified time if your connection is active
6. Local Listings and Classifieds
Local listings allow users to post classifieds in various categories. You agree that:
- All listing information must be accurate and not misleading
- You will not post prohibited items or services
- You are responsible for all transactions that result from your listings
- Listings may be removed if flagged by the community or found to violate these Terms
- Paid listings are subject to expiration and non-refundable after activation
7. Reviews / Testers Marketplace
Builders.to operates a peer review marketplace at /testers where builders can request feedback on their projects, launches, or landing pages by escrowing in-app tokens, and other builders can submit reviews to earn tokens and karma.
- Token Escrow: When you create a review request, in-app tokens equal to the per-review fee multiplied by the number of review slots are debited and held in escrow against your account.
- Reviewer Payout: Each accepted review credits the reviewer with the per-review token amount and karma. Reviewers must follow content quality requirements (including a minimum review length).
- Cancellations: Cancelling a request before it is fully fulfilled refunds unspent escrow to you.
- Quality Standard: Low-effort, copy-pasted, AI-spam, or otherwise abusive reviews may be rejected or removed at our discretion. Reviewers found to be gaming the system can have token rewards clawed back and accounts suspended.
- Public Display: Submitted reviews and any optional 1–5 star rating may be visible on the project page and aggregated into the project's public rating.
- No Guarantee of Outcomes: We do not guarantee that any review request will be fulfilled within a particular timeframe or that any review will be of a particular quality.
8. Bounties Marketplace
The bounties marketplace lets builders post public “gigs” for bug fixes, enhancements, or one-off contracts and lets other builders pitch themselves to pick up the work.
- Bounty Postings: All bounty postings are public and must accurately describe the work, the reward (in tokens, USD, or both), required skills, and any deadline.
- Work Requests: Builders submit non-binding work-request messages. Bounty owners decide who, if anyone, to engage.
- Off-Platform Settlement: Unless explicitly handled by an in-platform escrow feature, payment for bounty work is settled directly between bounty owner and builder. Builders.to is not a party to that agreement and is not responsible for delivery, payment, or quality.
- No Prohibited Work: Bounties may not solicit illegal work, content that violates Section 4, or work intended to manipulate engagement, tokens, sponsorships, or any other on- or off-platform metrics.
- Removal: We may remove bounty listings or work requests that violate these Terms.
9. Sponsorships, Crypto Tips & Backers
Builders.to lets sponsors support builders and projects with monthly recurring payments and one-off crypto tips. Sponsorships flow through the following rails:
- Stripe USD Subscriptions: Card-based monthly subscriptions processed by Stripe. Creators must complete Stripe Connect onboarding before they can receive card-based sponsorships.
- x402 Recurring Crypto: Monthly subscriptions authorized via the x402 deferred-payment scheme on Solana, in USDC, SOL, or
$BUILDERS. The sponsor signs an authorization in their Solana wallet; the x402 facilitator settles each monthly charge until the authorization is cancelled. - Crypto Tips (One-Off): Direct on-chain transfers of SOL, USDC, or
$BUILDERSto a creator's connected wallet, verified server-side after broadcast.
By using sponsorship features, you agree that:
- Platform Fee: Builders.to charges a 5% platform fee on each sponsorship charge. The remainder is forwarded to the creator's connected payout method (Stripe Connect for USD, the creator's wallet for crypto rails).
- Limits: Recurring sponsorships are restricted to a per-month USD-equivalent range (currently $1–$50/month).
- Public Backer Tiers: Sponsor display name, amount, and resulting backer tier may appear publicly on the recipient's profile and on the backer leaderboard.
- Cancellation: You can cancel a sponsorship at any time from the sponsorships dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals; the current period is not pro-rated unless required by law.
- Failed Charges: If a charge fails (card decline, insufficient on-chain funds, expired authorization), the sponsorship may be paused or moved to a past-due status.
- Refunds: Sponsorship payments are generally non-refundable except as required by law.
- No Custody: Builders.to does not custody your crypto. All crypto transfers are signed by you in your wallet and verified on chain.
- Tax & Compliance: Sponsors and creators are individually responsible for any tax, reporting, or compliance obligations arising from sponsorships.
10. $BUILDERSToken, Solana Wallets & Crypto Payments
$BUILDERS is a Solana SPL token publicly listed on Pump.fun. The token is not equity, a security registered with any regulator, or any form of guaranteed financial product, and Builders.to makes no representation as to its future value. Use of $BUILDERS and any Solana wallet feature on Builders.to is entirely optional.
By using crypto features, you agree that:
- Wallet Linking: You must complete a sign-in-with-Solana style challenge to bind a wallet to your account. We never ask for, store, or have access to your wallet's private keys or seed phrase.
- Token Top-Ups with SOL: You can buy fixed in-app token packs by sending a SOL transfer from your connected wallet to a Builders.to treasury address. The server quotes lamports against a live SOL/USD price and verifies the on-chain transfer before crediting in-app tokens. Quotes expire after a short window.
- Token Top-Ups via
$BUILDERSBurn: You can burn$BUILDERSfrom your connected wallet to top up in-app tokens at a discounted USD-equivalent rate. The server verifies the burn instruction and amount on chain before crediting. - Burn-Paid Pro / Founder's Circle: You can pay for an off-chain Pro or Founder's Circle subscription by burning
$BUILDERS. Burn-paid subscriptions cover a fixed period and do not auto-renew. Payments are non-refundable once the burn is verified. - Treasury Receives Payments, Not Custody: Direct SOL token-pack purchases are received in a Builders.to treasury wallet. Burn flows destroy
$BUILDERSon chain. We do not custody your other on-chain assets. - Network & Quote Risk: All on-chain quotes (SOL/USD,
$BUILDERS/USD) are estimates derived from third-party feeds at quote time. Network congestion, signature expiry, RPC errors, and price movement after the quote can cause your transaction to fail or be rejected by our verifier. Failed transactions are your responsibility, including any network fees. - No Refunds for Verified Crypto Payments: Once a SOL transfer or
$BUILDERSburn is verified and credited, the corresponding tokens or subscription period are non-refundable except as required by law. - Eligibility: Crypto features may be unavailable or restricted in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for compliance with local laws, including tax reporting on crypto activity.
- Investor Information: The
/investorspage surfaces public listing details (mint address, locked allocation, transaction links). Nothing on this page is financial, legal, or tax advice. Crypto assets and bonding-curve markets can move quickly and can lose value. - Anti-Abuse: Multi-account abuse, stolen wallets, exploitation of bugs, or any attempt to manipulate crypto-paid features may result in token clawback, account suspension, or permanent ban.
11. First 1,000 Founder Rewards
The first 1,000 Builders.to members can claim a one-time founder reward bundle from the /first-1000 page. The current claim is off-chain (a FoundersMintrow plus perk grants); legacy claims may also reference an on-chain Solana NFT (the “Builders Founder Token”) from the original on-chain mint flow.
- Eligibility: You must be among the first 1,000 signups, must not have already claimed, and the global cap of 1,000 must not yet be reached.
- Perks: Streak freeze grants, project trending boost credits, post and project bumps for FREE-tier accounts, and eligibility for future
$BUILDERSairdrops at our discretion. Specific perks may evolve over time. - Non-Transferable: Founder rewards are tied to your Builders.to account and cannot be transferred, sold, or assigned to another user.
- Discretionary Airdrops: Any future
$BUILDERSairdrops to founder claimants are entirely discretionary, are not promised, and are not a guaranteed benefit of claiming. - Revocation: Founder rewards may be revoked if your account is banned for fraud, abuse, or other Terms violations.
12. Native Mobile Apps & In-App Purchases
Builders.to ships native iOS and Android apps. By using the apps you additionally agree to the following:
- In-App Purchases: Purchases of digital goods (Pro / Founder's Circle subscriptions, token packs, mastermind subscriptions, playbook unlocks) initiated from inside the iOS or Android app must use Apple's StoreKit or Google Play Billing as required by their developer policies. Our servers will return a 451 response to non-IAP digital-good checkout attempts from inside the native shell.
- App Store Terms: Apple App Store and Google Play have their own developer and end-user agreements that govern in-app purchases. Their refund, dispute, and chargeback policies apply on top of these Terms for IAP transactions.
- Push Notifications: Native push (APNs / FCM) is opt-in; you can revoke permission from your device settings at any time.
- Web Equivalence: The native shell is built on top of the same web service, and our Terms, Privacy Policy, and content guidelines apply equally regardless of how you access Builders.to.

- Privacy Offset: Locations are offset by approximately 10 miles to protect your exact address.

16. Similar Builder Matching

However, we may access message content to investigate reports of abuse, harassment, or Terms violations. Users can report abusive messages, and we may take action including account suspension for violations.
18. Advertising
Users may run sidebar advertisements by spending tokens (in-app currency). Advertisers agree:
- Sidebar ads are activated using tokens; token cost is based on current tier pricing
- All advertisement content must be truthful and not misleading
- Advertisements must not violate any laws or these Terms
- We reserve the right to reject or remove any advertisement
- Ad payments are non-refundable after the ad begins running
- View and click metrics are provided as estimates, not guarantees
19. Membership Subscriptions
Builders.to offers the following membership tiers:
- Free: 1 post/day, up to 3 projects, access to the builder Discord community, and API access (subject to the same 1/day post limit). Posting does not award tokens; tokens are earned through referrals, streak milestones, helpful engagement, and reviews.
- Pro ($50 one-time, Pro forever): 3 posts/day, up to 5 projects, verified Pro badge, weekly sprint check-ins via Discord, and API access (3/day post limit). Includes everything in Free. Membership requires you to complete a recorded video verification interview with the CEO within seven (7) days of your purchase. Failure to complete the interview within that window may, at our discretion, result in suspension or termination of Pro access without refund beyond the 30-day money-back guarantee window.
- Founder's Circle ($12.50/month intro pricing or $125/year): A 15-minute GTM strategy call with the CEO, a 15-minute QA review call with a member of the team, bonus distribution help (we submit your project to up to 25 directories and launch platforms on your behalf), targeted feedback from the team, weekly progress meetings (Zoom), 7 posts per day, up to 10 projects, private channel, and featured spotlight. Includes everything in Pro. Calls and submissions are scheduled and delivered within a reasonable window after activation, are subject to availability, and are non-transferable and non-refundable once delivered. Introductory rates may change; published pricing at checkout applies.
- Mastermind: An optional separate $9/month Stripe subscription for the mastermind program with its own access and benefits, governed by the same payment and cancellation rules.
- Billing: Pro is a one-time $50 Stripe payment that grants Pro perks forever. Founder's Circle is billed through Stripe and auto-renews unless cancelled.
$BUILDERSburn-paid Founder's Circle subscriptions cover a fixed period and do not auto-renew. Pro is not available via $BUILDERS burn. - Cancellation: Pro is non-cancellable because it is a one-time purchase — you keep the perks forever. Founder's Circle subscribers may cancel at any time; card-paid access continues until the end of the billing period and burn-paid access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds: Every paid plan is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. After that, subscription and one-time payments — including burn-paid subscriptions once the on-chain burn is verified — are generally non-refundable except as required by law.
- In-App Purchase: If you start a paid plan from inside the iOS or Android app, the purchase is billed by Apple or Google under their in-app-purchase rules.
- Feature Changes: We may modify membership features at any time with reasonable notice.
