No. Every Builders.to account has an affiliate link the moment you sign up. Your referral code lives at /tokens and on your dashboard — share it anywhere.
What counts as a successful referral?ShowHide
Anyone who signs up using your referral link (or applies your code on /tokens) is permanently attributed to you. If they later upgrade to Pro or Founder's Circle, you get cash AND that signup counts toward your monthly perk total.
Can I earn perks AND cash on the same person?ShowHide
Yes. Referral perks (free months) and affiliate commissions (25% cash) run in parallel. A single referred Pro signup credits both at the same time — they never replace each other.
When does my cash become available?ShowHide
Commissions stay PENDING for 30 days to cover Stripe's refund window, then flip to AVAILABLE. Once you've cleared $25 available and connected Stripe in Settings, request a payout from your dashboard.
What happens to recurring Founder's Circle subscriptions?ShowHide
We pay 25% on the first invoice (monthly or yearly). Renewals don't double-pay — it's a one-time bounty per signup, per source.
Do referral perks expire?ShowHide
Each activated perk runs for 30 days. Unused banked perks reset on January 1 every year — no rolling forward across calendar years.
Is there a cap on how much cash I can earn?ShowHide
No cap on cash commissions. The only cap is on free-month perks (max 12 per calendar year). Refer 100 paying builders and you'll bank ~$1,250+ in cash plus 12 free months — earned forever.
